"Kirti Azad has been making baseless allegations against the association for the past few days. He is malingning the image of some of our prominent members. Also he is only showing the documents released by us. Since he has made false allegations, the senior members strongly feel that we should be taking legal recourse and file a defamation suit against Kirti," Manchanda told PTI.
"For the past few days we have released all the documents in the media. We have made point by point rebuttal against all the allegations levelled by him. We have released all the docouments and break-ups of the financial spendings," Manchanda said.
The treasurer also said that DDCA is applying for all the requisite government clearances for the organisation of ICC World T20 much in advance. Kotla is supposed to host 10 matches in men's and women's category including the marquee semi-final match.
