Earlier, Karnataka started the day at 358 for three and added another 184 runs to their total score before they were all out in 149 overs.
The notable scorer on the second day for Karnataka was Manish Pandey, who stroked his way to 81 off 141 balls with 13 boundaries. The other useful contribution came from skipper R Vinay Kumar, who hit a quickfire 50 off 60 balls with nine boundaries.
Shreyas Gopal (27) and Gautham (37) started well but got out after getting set.
For Delhi, left-arm seamer Pradeep Sangwan bowled 35 overs taking 3/102 in the process. The best figures were recorded by seamer Navdeep Saini (3/85 in 32 overs). Another left-armer Pawan Suyal (2/123 in 31 overs) was a touch expensive than the other two.
The maximum overs were sent down by left-arm spinner Manan Sharma, who bowled 41 overs, to take two wickets giving away 147 runs in the process.

Madhya Pradesh set Mumbai 280-run target
Indore: An interesting finish is on cards as Madhya Pradesh set Mumbai a tricky 280-run target with two days to go in their Ranji Trophy Group B match on Tuesday.
Madhya Pradesh bowled out Mumbai for 176 to take a 78-run first innings lead and then scored 201 in their second essay as 14 wickets fell on the second day of the contest.
Mumbai now have two full days at their disposal to knock off the required runs and bag six points but the batsmen have struggled to get big scores on this track.
Mumbai began this morning at 74 for six and thanks to some gritty bating by their lower-order they managed more than 100 runs before losing all wickets.
Iqbal Abdulla (21), Shardul Thakur (18), Vishal Dabholkar (16) and Ankush Jaiswal (20 not out) all contributed in their team's cause.
Jalaj Saxena (5/66) and Ankit Sharma (5/80) took five wickets each for the hosts.
Saxena then top-scored for MP by scoring 79 runs while opening the innings. Others who batted well were skipper Devendra Bundela (42) and Harpreet Singh (22).
Thakur (3/33) and Abdulla (3/53) shared six wickets between them to allow Mumbai make a comeback into the match.
The onus is now in Mumbai batsmen to cash in on the opportunity.
Brief Scores: Madhya Pradesh 240 & 201 in 71.2 overs.(J Saxena 79, D Bundela 42; S Thakur 3/33)
Mumbai 1st innings: 162 all out in 38.1 overs(J Bista 27, I Abdulla 21; J Saxena /66).
Odisha blown away for 37; team lodges complaints with BCCI
Nadia (West Bengal): Bengal wrapped up what was meant to be a four-day Ranji Trophy contest in just one and a half day after they blew away Odisha for an unbelievable 37, prompting a livid visiting team to lodge a complaint about the nature of the pitch with BCCI.
Hosts Bengal comfortably won the Group A match by 133 runs at the Bengal Cricket Academy (BCA) ground that resembled a minefield. Interestingly, the venue was hosting its first first-class match.
It was pacer Ashoke Dinda who wreaked havoc with figures of 7/19, including a hat-trick, as Odisha were bundled out in only 19.2 overs in pursuit of their victory target of 171.
Bengal managed 142 and 135 in their two innings with eight of their batsmen failing to score a single run across both innings.
It was one of the lowest scores in the history of Ranji Trophy and easily the worst of the season so far in the country's premier domestic tournament.
So livid were the Odisha team after the game that their skipper Natraj Behera and OCA secretary Asirbad Behera confirmed that they were lodging an official complaint about the nature of the strip.
A fuming Odisha Cricket Association secretary told PTI, "Is this the kind of wicket you prepare for first-class matches? What is the point of having a four-day match if you want to make an under-prepared wicket and get it over in one and half days.
"We're extremely disappointed at the way they have prepared the wicket. We've already filed our complaint with the match referee and then sending a report to the BCCI's grounds committee chairman Daljit Singh."
Skipper Natraj said, "Yes, our manager has filed an official complaint with the match referee (Shakti Singh). This was an absolutely dangerous pitch.
Singh, who was also the match referee during another two-day finish this season, confirmed receiving a complaint from the Odisha team.
"Yes, Odisha have filed a complaint and I will forward it to the BCCI. I will also give my report. It is upto BCCI to decide," Singh said.
A dejected Natraj, on his part, termed the pitch "unplayable".
"Yesterday, it was literally unplayable and today when two Bengal batsmen (Sudeep Chatterjee and Aamir Gani) were hit on the helmet grill off deliveries that bounced awkwardly, a fear factor set in our boys. Our guy (Anurag Sarangi) was also hit on the grill. The boys were afraid to play on the front-foot."
Bengal coach Sairaj Bahutule said that the pitch was same for both teams. "This was a pitch where application was the key. We applied better than them. There has been far worse pitches that I can recall from my playing days. There is no point complaining about the strip," said the Bengal coach and former Mumbai stalwart.
Bengal's prospects of making it to the semi-final brightened with second straight six points, but the 22-yard strip left a lot to be desired.
The pitch was left dry by curator Sujan Mukherjee, a small-time first class cricketer of yesteryears.
The idea was to get a result-oriented pitch but it turned out to be surface where the top layer eroded as the match progressed. Mukherjee's role in the preparation of the pitch will come under the scanner.
The only saving grace for Cricket Association of Bengal could be the fact that this was the fourth match of the season that ended inside two days. There were two matches involving Saurashtra and the other was played between Jammu & Kashmir and Services. All the matches, however, were Plate Group (Group C) encounters.
Such was the pitch that match referee Singh, from Himachal Pradesh, needed to enter the ground during breaks to check the condition of the track.
Brief Scores: Bengal 142 & 135 (Abhimanyu Easwaran 39, Sudeep Chatterjee 37, Manoj Tiwary 35, Basant Mohanty 5/16)
Odisha 107 & (target 170) 37 in 19.2 overs (Ashok Dinda 7/19, Pragyan Ojha 3/14). Bengal won by 133 runs.

Ashok Menaria (47), Puneet Yadav (46) and Siddharth Dobal (43) were the main contributors for Rajasthan.

Kanpur: Skipper Harbhajan Singh's three-wicket burst in an eight-over spell left Uttar Pradesh reeling at 205 for eight in reply to Punjab's first innings total of 272 in a group B Ranji Trophy encounter on Tuesday.
With another 68 runs required for the home team to ensure atleast three points, Punjab are in driver's seat at the moment courtesy their skipper's 3/31 which included the wickets of set batsmen Umang Sharma (49) and Akshdeep Nath (35), who had added 50 runs for the fourth wicket.

The senior off-spinner also accounted for wicketkeeper-batsman Ekalavya Dwivedi (27) caught by close in fielder Mandeep Singh.
The worst part about UP's batting was that none of their batsmen converted their starts. Whether it was Himanshu Asnora (34) at the top or the trio of Umang, Akshdeep and Elalavya -- everyone was guilty of playing to the wrong line.
Left-arm medium pacer Deepak Bansal (2/22) bowled to tight lines while seamer Siddharth Kaul (2/71) also chipped in with useful wickets including the prize wicket of opposition captain Suresh Raina (0), who was clean bowled.
Earlier, Punjab added 24 runs to their overnight score of 248 for eight before being bowled out for 272 in their first innings.
Gitansh Khera (74) could only add a single run to his overnight score. Praveen Kumar (4/81) was the most successful bowler for Uttar Pradesh.

C Sneha Kishore (2/54), D Siva Kumar (1/18) and DB Prasanth (1/22) also contributed to their team cause.

Andhra 114 allout in 50 overs (DB Prasanth 49; K V Sharma 5/30).
Assam steady at 223/4 against Maharashtra
Pune: Having lost a day's play due to bad light, Assam rode on Arun Karthik's unbeaten century to make 223 for four in their Group A Ranji Trophy cricket match against Maharashtra on Tuesday.
After the visiting side won the toss, Karthik struck a watchful 105 off 225 balls with the help of 11 fours and a six.
Skipper Gokul Sharma contributed and unbeaten 59 off 103 balls, hitting 10 boundaries in the process at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium.
During his knock, Karthik shared 75 runs for the fourth wicket with Amit Verma (32). He was the involved in an unfinished 130-run stand for the fifth wicket with Gokul as Assam continued their impressive run in the current domestic season.
The start was far from ideal for the visitors as they lost three wickets on the same score of 18 to Samad Fallah and Anupam Sanklecha.
But then followed the repair work that frustrated the hosts.
Both Fallah and Sanklecha picked up two wickets apiece.
Saurashtra sniff victory against Kerala
Malappuram (Kerala): Spinners Dharmendrasinh Jadeja and Vandit Jivrajani grabbed six and four wickets respectively as Saurashtra sniffed victory in their Ranji Trophy cricket match against Kerala on Tuesday.
Saurashtra, who resumed the third day at 55/6, conceded a nine-run first innings lead to Kerala as they were all out for 157 in the post lunch session of the third day in reply to the home team's first innings total of 166.
The third day's play, which saw 15 wickets falling, turned out to be an eventful one with Saurashtra skittling out Kerala for 105 in just 41 overs with left-arm spinner Jadeja leading the charge with a haul of 6/59.
Jadeja was well supported by off-spinner Jivrajani who returned with figures of 4/31 as the visiting bowlers spun a web around Kerala batsmen in the home side's second innings.
Only four Kerala batsmen could cross double digit figures with number eight Akshay Chandran top-scoring with an unbeaten on 32.
